Ryan White is a writer living in Seattle with his cat, Django. His work has appeared in The Baltimore Review, Hunger Mountain Review, J Journal, Red Rock Review and other journals. His story, “Focus,” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He’s currently revising his first novel, The Retreat. He’s a lifelong surfer, and has been briefly jailed and hospitalized (separate incidents) while chasing waves in other countries.
